There are a lot of great events in May.

  • Burning of the Socks at Safe - Harbor Harbors View Marina is May 6th just two blocks away from the Casitas.

  • There are a couple of great horse races to watch in May:

    • The Kentucky Derby - May 6th 

    • Preakness - May 20th

There are three great establishments close-by to view the race, enjoy a cold refreshing beverage, or a nice meal.

Cherokee Yacht Club (UPON REQUEST) - 1 mile away

Also, you have the option to just relax at the Casitas watching the wildlife and enjoying a nice campfire (wood provided).

In addition, it is wonderful weather to play a round of golf at the Coves Golf Course which is less than a mile away.
